OUR SPIRITUAL BATTLE
Our Christian life is a constant spiritual battle and it has to be latent in us. At a certain level of our walk we should experience that struggle and know that God accompanies us with his angels and saints, but we must also fight with our own weapons with those graces that God gives us.
How many times do we let God or his angels fight for us while we are asleep in faith? I can imagine a soldier that while he sleeps his companions and friends fight to protect him, when the most correct thing is to wake up and fight together.
In one of my sacraments of reconciliation, the priest told me: "The devil is fighting to win the battle in your life, you have to keep fighting." In our spiritual life we also have friends and acquaintances, here we are all brothers, we are all on the same path and fighting a battle.
My spiritual director also told me: "in this battle you are not alone, like you, there are many, but many more fighting the battle of God ..."

Nuestra vida cristiana es una constante batalla espiritual y tiene que ser latente en nosotros. En cierto nivel de nuestro caminar cristiano deberiamos de experimentar esa lucha y saber que Dios nos acompaña con sus ángeles y santos, pero también debemos luchar con nuestras propias armas, con aquellas gracias que Dios nos da.
Son incontable las veces que dejamos que Dios o sus angeles peleen por nosotros mientras estamos dormidos en la fe. Puedo imaginar a un soldado que mientras el duerme sus compañeros y amigos pelean para protegerlo, cuando lo mas correcto es despertar y luchar juntos.
En una de mis sacramentos de reconciliacion, el sacerdote me dijo: "El diablo está luchando por ganar la batalla en tu vida, tienes que seguir luchando". En nuestra vida espiritual tenemos tambien amigos y conocidos, aqui todos somos hermanos, todos estamos en un mismo camino y peleando una batalla.
Mi director espiritual me dijo tambien: "en esta batalla no estas solo, al igual que tu, hay muchos, pero muchos más peleando la batalla de Dios..."
No estamos solos, despierta, levantate y lucha en nombre de Dios!
